PROGRAM OUTLINE
This is a 2-3 hour on-site training course that requires the use of a training room, electrical power source, in-focus projector; screen and table. Participants will receive a workbook during the training session.

Ø Learn the use of calming signals
Ø What to do when threatened by a dog
Ø How to identify aggressive, fearful and submissive Behaviour

Ø How to enter and exit a dwelling unit safely
Ø Strategies used to reduce personal injury from attacking dogs
Ø Understanding dog facts
Ø What to do if bitten or attacked
Ø Instinctive Behaviour
Ø Taught Behaviour
Ø Personal Safety Checklist
Ø Alternative Weapons & Deterrents
Ø Common Fears about Dogs
IMAGE, SERVICE, LIABILITY
Ø "Service" and "Image" is improved when an employee is trained to know what to do and how to do it confidently and correctly while performing their duties in a "Professional" manner
Ø Dealing with the public is one of the most difficult responsibilities an employee can be assigned and an untrained employee can be an embarrassment and a liability
